Homeowners on the Move!

We are inviting Red Hat volunteers to join Habitat for Humanity SHR as we float down Atlantic Ave. for the annual Virginia Beach Holiday Parade on Saturday, December 7th. Volunteers will line up at the south end of Atlantic Ave. at approximately 12th Street with our gingerbread-themed Habitat float and accompany the float to the parade's end at approximately 27th Street.

Red Hat parade volunteers will be asked to wear Habitat hard hats and toolbelts while passing out candy provided by Habitat to parade spectators.

Additional details with specific meeting locations and timelines will be provided the week before the parade.

Watch for Gingerbread House build days, which will soon be added to the volunteer calendar. Mike and Kurt will build this year's float at the 900 Tidewater Drive warehouse and can use your creative support.
