About Our ReStores

Habitat for Humanity SHR ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, appliances, building materials, and housewares at a fraction of the retail price. The proceeds help fund Habitat for Humanity's mission to build safe, affordable housing in South Hampton Roads.

When you donate or shop at the ReStore, you:

•  Help the environment by reducing landfill waste

•  Provide affordable furnishings to families in our community

• Support Habitat SHR's housing programs and offset administrative costs

What To Donate

• Appliances (under 10 years old)

• Cabinets (complete kitchen/bath sets preferred)

• Furniture (no stains, tears, or damage)

• Building materials, doors, windows, and tools

• Electronics (flat screen only, under 3 years old)

• Housewares, lighting, and more

• Hazardous materials

• Mattresses or box springs

• Outdated electronics

• Paint, glass, infant items, or oversized office furniture
