On Thursday, March 2nd, we here at Habitat for Humanity of South Hampton Roads recognized who the Dream Builder and Volunteer of the Year are!

We are excited to announce that Sentara Cares is our 2022 Dream Builder of the Year. They supported us throughout 2022 with our Home Repair Program. Without their help, we would not have been able to complete 77 critical repairs for 18 homeonwers. These repairs enhanced the quality of life, well-being, and healthy living conditions to these homeowners.
We are excited to announce that Diane Hruska, the wife of Executive Director Frank Hruska, is our 2022 Volunteer of the Year. Diane has had a huge impact on us all here at Habitat for Humanity SHR by continuing to show up and show her continuous support for our organization.
Without the help of Sentara Cares and Diane Hruska, Habitat for Humanity SHR would not be as successful as we are today. Thank you both for all that you do for our organization.
