Help break the cycle of generational poverty, promote the importance of financial stability and empower hard working low-income families to attain the goal of home ownership

Provide you with unique networking opportunities to meet other women who share your passion to build stronger communities.
85% of our home buyers are single mothers, so WBC members will be the first to know when we have selected a new home buyer. Women Build Club will be a big part of encouraging and empowering these women who are working hard to improve the lives of their families through positive role modeling and helping them build their homes.
As a member of WBC you will be invited to bi-monthly builds reserved just for members, and to informal post-build informal BYOB (Buy Your Own Beverage) socials at a locally owned business close to the build sites.
Members will also receive special newsletters, invitations to every Family Home Dedication at the completion of each build, and to two yearly official social event for the opportunity to build connections with one another.
As WBC member, you will be encouraged to be active members of our Habitat Family, supporting fundraising events, attending home dedications, and coming out to build with us.

As part of your annual membership donation of $50, you will receive a Habitat SHR ball cap that you will receive at your first meeting or you can come to our main offices located at 900 Tidewater Drive to pick it up. If you would like to pick it up, please email volunteer@shrhabitat.org to schedule a day to pick up the ballcap. Thank you for your support and Welcome to the Habitat Family!
