Habitat for Humanity of South Hampton Roads if offering a $500 finder’s fee to reward real estate professionals who help us find qualified families for our affordable homes in Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Suffolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Isle of Wight and Smithfield.

 

You might encounter applicants who may not meet industry standard minimum qualifications. That is where Habitat might be able to help!  All of our mortgages are at a zero-net interest rate, and the mortgage amount is based on how much the family can afford calculated against their total household income.

 

Your help in finding these families is crucial to our mission. We will pay a flat $500 finder’s fee for any referral that we are able to take to the closing table. There is no effort required on your part. We take care of all credit processing, appraisal, pre-qualification, final qualification and secure a closing attorney, as well as all required closing inspection reports and documents (termite, survey, etc.) and we work directly with the family throughout the process. The only thing we need from you is to provide the family with the Habitat option and obtain their permission for us to contact them.  It’s that simple; we will take care of everything else!
