This Week in Construction – Even though we got our lake Kennedy home finished, we’re still building. This week we went back to our Marcus Street house. Contractors set the trusses last week and sheathed the roof and put up roofing paper to help weather in the house. Our volunteers put in blocking for cabinets, insulated, and tacked in the vapor barriers around the tubs. We wrapped the house leaving the windows covered to keep out the weather. Plumbers start rough in work next week while our construction crew takes some well deserved time off.
