It was a rainy, muddy day last Wednesday, but our Red Hats were up to the challenge to getting the sills and beams in on the box for our next build in Suffolk on Maple Street! The home is being made possible through the support of the City of Suffolk and our friends at Birdsong Peanuts.
This week, walls have started going up, and we look forward to hosting the Women Build Club members for their bi-monthly build. After their build they will gather at a local business for an informal social. (For more information on the Women Build Club click here.
This home will be purchased by a single mother with four children (19. 16, 10 and 3). The three younger children will be living with mom in their new single-story, four bedroom, two bath home.
